These Terms of Use (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the websites sehkai.com, id.sehkai.com, sehkai.tv, sehkai.im, sehkai.me, sehkai.net, sehkai.org and sehkai.app (the “Sites”), published by Sehkai SASU (“Sehkai”, “we”, “us”). The publisher's details are in our Legal Notice. By using the Sites, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Sites.
1. Purpose of the Sites
The Sites present the Sehkai ecosystem and the services we are developing, and let you subscribe to our newsletter to hear about their progress. Access to the Sites is free. The services described on the Sites (including Sehkai Vision, Relay, ID and the Sehkai Incubator) are under development and not yet available. Descriptions, features and dates are given for information only and may change. They are not an offer or a commitment to provide any particular service. Each service will have its own terms when it launches.
2. Newsletter
To subscribe, you must be at least 15 years old and give a valid email address that belongs to you. Subscribing is free and does not create an account or any obligation to use a future service. You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in each email. How we handle your email address is explained in our Privacy Policy.
3. Acceptable use
When using the Sites, you agree not to:
- break any applicable law or regulation;
- submit someone else's email address or false information;
- try to get unauthorised access to the Sites, their servers or related systems, or interfere with their operation (for example through malware, denial-of-service attacks or bypassing security measures);
- use robots, scrapers or other automated means to access the Sites or submit forms, except for search engine indexing in line with our robots.txt file;
- copy, reproduce or exploit the Sites' content other than as allowed in section 4.
4. Intellectual property
The Sites and all of their content, including text, graphics, logos, names, icons, software and design, are owned by Sehkai or its licensors and protected by intellectual property laws. We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable right to view the Sites for your own non-commercial use. No other rights are granted. In particular, you may not use the Sehkai name or logos without our prior written permission.
5. Third-party links and services
The Sites may contain links to websites or services run by third parties. We do not control them and are not responsible for their content, availability or privacy practices. Your use of them is governed by their own terms.
6. Availability
We try to keep the Sites available and accurate, but we do not guarantee that they will be uninterrupted, error-free or free of harmful components. We may change, suspend or stop all or part of the Sites at any time, in particular for maintenance or as our services evolve.
7. Liability
The Sites are provided free of charge, for information only. To the extent permitted by law, Sehkai is not liable for any indirect damage resulting from your use of the Sites or your inability to use them, or for the content of third-party sites. Nothing in these Terms limits or excludes liability that cannot be limited or excluded by law, including liability for gross negligence or wilful misconduct, or the statutory rights you have as a consumer.
8. Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The date at the top shows when they were last changed. The version published on the Sites when you use them applies.
9. Governing law and disputes
These Terms are governed by French law. If you are a consumer living in another EU country, you also keep the protection of the mandatory provisions of the law of your country of residence. Before starting any legal action, please contact us at contact [at] mail [dot] sehkai [dot] com so we can try to resolve the issue amicably. If no amicable solution is found, the dispute will be brought before the competent French courts. Consumers may also bring proceedings before the courts of their place of residence.
